Why we built StampDuck

We kept walking into cafes and local spots that were still handing out paper punch cards. Half of them were soggy, stamped wrong, or just lost in someone's wallet never to be seen again. The regulars weren't coming back because of a loyalty programme. They were coming back despite it.

The alternatives were either too expensive for a small business or required customers to download yet another app. Nobody downloads another app for a free coffee.

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are already on every phone. We figured: why not just use that? No app. No login. Customers scan a QR, a card drops straight into their wallet, and they're done in under 15 seconds. Businesses stamp from any device. Rewards trigger automatically.

StampDuck is built for the cafe, the bar, the food truck, the barber. The kind of business where loyalty actually matters and every repeat customer counts.

We're a small team based in New Zealand. We built this because we wanted it to exist.
